Oral Surgeon Randy Bogard DMD
Randy Bogard DMD attended dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, where he finished his studies with High Honors and graduated third in his class. Following graduation from dental school, he obtained his Medical Degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). During that time, he gained extensive experience in complex exodontia, dental implantology, and bone grafting procedures.
He also spent 6 months training on an Adult Hospital Anesthesia service and 1 month on a Pediatric Hospital Anesthesia Service, and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Academically, he has had multiple abstracts published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has participated in the presentation of many lectures. After obtaining his specialty in oral and maxillofacial surgery, he was in private practice in the Kansas City region before moving back to the Northwest.
Dr. Bogard was born and raised in the suburbs of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There, he attended Trinity Western University, where he majored in biology, minored in chemistry, and wrote an undergraduate thesis about a dentally-related bacterium. He graduated with distinction (Dean’s List). He likes to spend his free time with his wife and three children (twin girls, and a son) and stays active within his church. His hobbies include swimming, landscaping, and hiking.
